For many it’s absolutely unknown.
It’s called “la vecchiaredd” (the old lady) and is the symbol of the older generation that carries on his shoulders the new one.

L’illustrazione rappresenta una maschera tipica del carnevale di coratino.
Per molti è assolutamente sconosciuta.
Si chiama “la vecchiaredd” (la vecchietta) ed è il simbolo della vecchia generazione che porta sulle spalle quella nuova.

The "sanguinaccio" is a traditional Italian recipe made with chocolate and pig blood.
It's a carnival dessert.
To extract blood from the pig, it is slowly slaughtered.

Finalmente l'Ego di quest'inverno estenuante è stato ridimensionato dal sole e il caldo entra dai balconi finalmente spalancati. Adesso partono i lamenti per il caldo che col suo torrido scialle ci condurrà al mare! Noi di AI proponiamo a tutti gli autori di immagini di dedicare un disegno all'Estate con AMOILSOLSTIZIODESTATE SECONDA EDIZIONE: un'iniziativa per festeggiare l'arrivo della bella stagione.
